Westminster Tutors is perhaps uniquely able as a school to respond to Coronavirus. While keeping any physical environment safe is only ever a matter of reducing risk, one to one tuition is safer than classroom teaching.

The final run up to A level results day is always very nerve-wracking, and the difficult circumstances this year mean, I fear, that some of you are feeling more worried than usual.

This summer there were no A level or GCSE exams and all grades will be awarded via centre assessment. This means that the usual post-results services, such as access to scripts and reviews of marking, will not be applicable.

In response to the global coronavirus pandemic, this year’s summer A level and GCSE exams have been cancelled. Students will still be awarded grades as they would in any other year, but these will be calculated from centre assessment grades.

While schools and colleges have been asked to close, Westminster Tutors is still open but we are operating remotely. We are open for enquiries and we are teaching online, conducting lessons via Google Meet or Zoom, and using Google Classroom to share work.

The DfE have just published the 16-18 performance tables for 2019 A level results, and Westminster Tutors has achieved exceptional results!

This year A level results will be released on Thursday 15 August 2019. Westminster Tutors students will be able to email, phone or come in for their results from 9am on results day.
