Another unique aspect of our offering is that each student receives an hourly mentoring session every week. Mentoring addresses academic needs such as study skills as well as pastoral support and hands-on help with UCAS applications. PRIVATE COLLEGE A LEVELS
Our A level courses are tailor-made to suit each student. We offer many A level subjects and all exam boards, with any combination of subjects being possible. A level courses are taught one-to-one or in groups of two to three, meaning every student receives personal attention. A LEVEL RETAKES
Westminster Tutors offers flexible A level retake courses which are individually designed. This means our A level retakers have a seamless transition continuing on the same board and units: this allows them to focus on the areas they need most help with. Private Sixth Form College in the Heart of London
Westminster Tutors is a private sixth form college in the heart of London. We can be found on Old Brompton Road, which is only a few minutes’ walk from South Kensington underground station on the Circle, District and Piccadilly lines. Our location in central London means we are just around the corner from the V&A, Science and Natural History Museums as well as the Royal College of Music, Institut Français, Royal Geographic Institute and many other prestigious organisations.
Our Courses
At Westminster Tutors, we teach all of our courses either one-to-one or in very small groups. A typical sixth form A level student would study three subjects over the course of two years, although we often admit ambitious students who are studying a fourth subject or an EPQ. Students also join us to retake their A levels over one year or six months, going on to achieve results which lead to exceptional university destinations.
In addition to our courses for enrolled students at the college, we offer Oxbridge preparation, private tuition and Easter revision for students at other schools who wish to enhance their grades and UCAS applications with help from our expert teachers.
Students’ Results
Our A level students’ results reflect the hard work they put into their studies, the expertise of our teachers and the positive impact of our unique mentoring system. In 2024, 43% of all A level grades were A*-A and 80% were A*-B. We take particular pride in these results as we are a non-selective college, and our students make exceptional progress from their starting points. Students on our A level retake courses perform equally well, obtaining excellent results and taking up places at top universities.

We offer over 25 A level subjects and teach all exam boards. While we have our own chosen exam boards, our unique one-to-one approach enables us to offer a seamless transition for students who join us in Year 13, continuing them on the same board and units, and our A level retake students cover exactly what they need.
