Staff vs Students Rounders

The much-anticipated end of term staff vs students rounders match took place last Friday.
To celebrate the end of the academic year and the last A level exam, a team of teachers and admin staff faced up against the Year 12 and 13 students in Hyde Park for an energetic three innings of rounders. The student team had a couple of star batters who quite literally knocked the ball out of the park, but they were no match for the superior fielding and catching skills of the staff team. Before the final innings, the score was 23-17 in favour of the staff who charged ahead and won with a final score of 34 (unfortunately, our umpire misplaced the final score for the students)!
