Student Activities
At Westminster Tutors, social opportunities are an important part of the educational experience. Alongside one-to-one teaching, we provide structured occasions for students to interact with peers, practise communication skills, and enjoy shared experiences in a calm and supportive environment. Our social programme is designed to be inclusive and purposeful, offering students opportunities to connect with others beyond their academic studies.
The Uno Tournament provided a relaxed and accessible starting point. Its familiar format encouraged conversation, turn-taking, and friendly competition, while helping students practise managing outcomes and adapting to changing situations. Staff were present throughout to ensure the
environment remained respectful and comfortable for all students.
Students also took part in a College version of Taskmaster. These light-hearted challenges focused on creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and following instructions. Tasks encouraged students to think flexibly, work together, and approach challenges from different perspectives, with
the emphasis on participation and enjoyment rather than results.
It was encouraging to see students supporting one another, sharing ideas, and engaging positively with peers. The event was very well received, and students made the most of the opportunity to spend time together in a relaxed and supervised setting. We were pleased with the response and will continue to develop our social programme in ways that strengthen community, support wellbeing, and enrich the overall student experience at Westminster Tutors.
